Riverside towns
Chinsurah (the district headquarters), Bandel, Chandannagar, Serampore, Rishra, Konnagar and Uttarpara: homes, shops and small businesses asking about rooftop solar.
From Uttarpara to Arambagh, Hooghly district mixes riverside towns, growing suburbs and farming blocks. SolarConnect’s head office is in Serampore, inside the district, and its dealers here bring local leads and customer files while SolarConnect’s own team installs.
Partners know their own area best. These are the settings a Hooghly partner works in.
Chinsurah (the district headquarters), Bandel, Chandannagar, Serampore, Rishra, Konnagar and Uttarpara: homes, shops and small businesses asking about rooftop solar.
Areas around Dankuni and Singur, with warehouses, workshops and shops where commercial rooftop solar is relevant. SolarConnect’s team handles the technical review and installation.
Arambagh, Tarakeswar and the rural blocks, where agricultural solar such as solar pumps is relevant. SolarConnect’s in-house team works on agricultural as well as rooftop and commercial projects.
Customers deserve to know exactly who is responsible for each step.
| Who | Role |
|---|---|
| Dealer / partner | Finds genuine local enquiries, explains the broad stages honestly, prepares the customer file and stays the local point of contact. |
| SolarConnect | Reviews the file, discusses the site and requirement with the customer and installs with its own team, coordinated from the Serampore head office. |
| Pro Power Energies | SolarConnect’s registered vendor partner for customers who choose PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. SolarConnect is not itself a registered vendor. |
With the customer’s permission, a complete file usually includes:
Collect only what is needed and handle personal data carefully. For the metering side, see CESC vs WBSEDCL net metering for Kolkata, Serampore and Hooghly, and for the full partner workflow read how to become a solar dealer in Hooghly, West Bengal.
No. Dealers bring leads and customer files. SolarConnect's own team does the installation, supported by its partner Pro Power Energies.
Do not assume it from the town. The customer's electricity bill names the distribution company (for example WBSEDCL or CESC), and the rooftop solar and metering process follows that company's procedure.
With the customer's permission: name, phone number and full installation address; a recent electricity bill with consumer number; property type and basic roof details; roof photos if the customer agrees; whether they want PM Surya Ghar or a direct purchase; and their questions.
Yes, through SolarConnect's registered vendor partner Pro Power Energies. SolarConnect itself is not a registered PM Surya Ghar vendor, and dealers should never present themselves as one.
Yes. SolarConnect is building a pan-India dealer network from its Serampore head office. Enquiries from anywhere in West Bengal or other states are welcome through the partner page.

✔ SolarConnect works with every dealer under a written dealership agreement. Work starts only after a written dealership agreement is signed. All dealership terms are documented in writing; we do not rely on verbal promises. Payments are accepted only in the official company bank account of Techsr Enterprise (SolarConnect). Dealer role: A SolarConnect dealer's job is to collect B2C (home customer) files and send them to SolarConnect through their dedicated SolarConnect relationship manager. Dedicated relationship manager: SolarConnect staff guide every dealership so it runs properly. Each dealer gets an appointed relationship manager who is the main point of contact and coordinates the dealer’s work. No heavy investment: Dealers do not need to invest heavily with big brands, because SolarConnect has already made that investment. As a stockist, SolarConnect supplies solar materials and all required items. After-sales support: SolarConnect itself handles warranty support, net metering, subsidy and loan assistance for every customer, so dealers only need to collect and send customer files. PM Surya Ghar subsidy: SolarConnect handles the subsidy application for customers through our partner ProPower. Territory protection: Once an area has a SolarConnect dealer, we do not appoint another dealer in that area. Why registration: The dealership registration helps SolarConnect expand its network so rooftop solar can be installed in more areas.
